Grinagog Festival Presents: Minigog 2019

Date: Saturday, 13th April 2019

The news that Grinagog Festival were unable to put on their third full festival instalment, left many of us reeling. However, thanks to a push from Torquay’s MBE legend - DJ Chris Tofu - and some dedicated local promoters, Minigog 2019 has been announced! This is a bite size version of Grinagog, still taking place in the grounds of Torre Abbey, Torquay.

The stripped back festival is a one day event that includes a family and grown-ups programme. Between midday and 4pm let the little grinners go wild on these 800 year old grounds before the grown-ups live music and performances take over from 4.30pm to midnight. Parrotfest XXIII

Parrotfest is a ‘cracker’ of a festival located in the heart of Torquay’s strand. The rock & metal focused event in April sees local and renowned names on the gigging circuit come down for a day of moshing, fun and feathers with the impressive headliners Anavae returning to our shores. Sea Change Festival 2019

Sea Change is an intimate and spirited festival of high times, music, art, culture, food and drinks in Totnes and Dartington, Devon. It was founded by the award-winning Drift Record Shop who lovingly curate the event with their favourite thinkers, speakers and players. A brand new one day festival is arriving to the grounds of Exeter Castle from the people behind Timepiece Nightclub & Wine Bar & FridayFlava called, Party In The Castle. After bringing the likes of Snoop Dogg, Coolio, NWA, Sean Kingston, SHY FX, Nathan Dawe, DJ Jazzy Jeff and many more to Exeter, they’re planning to bring something bigger and better to Exeter. Torquay’s very own multi-venue, rock and metal festival is returning for another year. Burn it Down Festival takes place across three well-loved venues; The Foundry, The Attic and Apple & Parrot. The festival is mosh pit heavy with rock and metal band’s performing across the three venues. The likes of Black Peaks, Loathe and Acres are already confirmed with many more expected to be announced.
