Something for the Weekend: Foreverland's Magical Rave hits Torquay

Who’s glad January is done and dusted? We are! Dry January - done! Tax Returns - submitted! Pay day - here! So what better way to start February than with the highly immerse - Foreverland's Enchanted Forest Rave - that arrives in Torquay this Saturday (2nd February).

Hosted by our friends at The Foundry, this touring Foreverland event will bring pyrotechnic displays, inflatable creatures, dry ice and confetti cannons to our shores. What more could you ask for on a Saturday night?

Foreverland is one mini-festival environment that since 2015, has grown in popularity with the last tour peaking at 18 cities and 24,000 clubbers. The Enchanted Forest Rave theme pushes the envelope, even for a brand known for its wild taste in production. The Foundry makes Torquay one of just 16 locations in the UK to throw this mystical party. A custom-built stage-set resembling a crumbling, abandoned temple, laden with foliage will be the focal point at each venue. Plants and flowers will hang from the ceilings as walkabout characters and mythical beast puppeteers roam the dancefloor. L.E.D and pyrotechnic displays, inflatable creatures and dry ice and confetti cannons will transport dancers into another world. And if that’s not enough, face and body painting experts will be on hand to create eye-popping designs throughout the night.

Amongst the madness, returns the Bassline favourite Skepsis and to complete the experience Foreverland's resident DJs, Taim, Bassic, and Bitr8 bring you Techno, House, Garage and Disco beats throughout the night. New for The Enchanted Forest Rave tour is MC Tyrone, better known as the hype man fronting garage collective, FooR.

You've survived dry January, so why don't you celebrate in style. Two tiers of early bird tickets have sold out, but general release tickets can now be purchased for £16.50 plus booking fee from www.theforeverland.com/tickets and you can get them on the door at The Foundry too.
