GRASS MEN | ASHLEY PEEVOR FRI 7, SAT 8 & SUN 9 JUNE

Meet the living meandering beasts that explore our relationship with nature. Inspired by mythology, these part-sculpture, part-performance Grass Men have been grown using local flora. STREET MUSIC | TRIO OF MEN, KUNG CHI SHING & GUESTS
FRI 7 JUNE, 6 - 10PM

Reconnect with the rocks beneath your feet at a Street Music concert inspired by the 400 million year old UNESCO Global Geopark we call home. Listen to these free performances from both UK and Hong Kong musicians on the glorious seafront of Eastern Esplanade in Paignton.  Watch an interview with Kung Chi Sing and Trio of Men


FABRIC OF HOME | AMY PITT
SAT 8 & SUN 9 JUNE, 10AM - 6PM

Join-in this mass sewing event, led by artist Amy Pitt, on the lawns of Singer’s former home at Oldway Mansion in Paignton.Register to sew hereor come along and watch as an army of sewers make a 3D giant handmade map of Torbay. Featuring local buildings and icons, there will be plenty to see as the days unfold.  Watch an interview with Amy Pitt


THE CAVE HUNTERS & THE TRUTH MACHINE | SEAN HARRIS
FRI 7 - SUN 16 JUNE, 12 - 6/8PM

See lantern projections inspired by William Pengelly and the local remains of ancient beasts. Packed with surprise and wonder, step inside the 200-year-old All Saints Church in Brixham. Installation features extraordinary material held in the internationally important collections of Torquay Museum. Watch an interview with artist Sean Harris.


SILENCE BETWEEN WAVES | RICHARD CHAPPELL DANCE
SUN 9 JUNE, 3.30 - 4.30PM

Watch the work of Richard Chappell - the internationally renowned Choreographer and Dancer from Torbay - who is working with three exceptional Singaporean dancers and a large community cast to present spectacular live dance at beautiful Berry Head. This is a collaborative performance about what it means to be ‘home’ told through movement and sound. Watch an interview with Richard Chappell


THE OFFERING | SHELLEY CASTLE, SUN 16 JUNE,
11AM - 4PM

A different way to spend Father's Day! Witness a procession through Torquay town from Union Street and down onto Torre Abbey Sands from 11am-1pm. Then celebrate the wonders of local wildlife from 1-4pm at Torre Abbey Sands with an offering to the sea, food, storytelling and dance (continuing until the tide rises up the beach).  Watch an interview with lead artist Shelley Castle

Community artist Deborah Cordon is welcoming people into her home on Lymington Road in Torquay to add to an ever-evolving writing installation. Through textiles, painting, drawing, writing and everything in-between, share your thoughts and memories on this local neighbourhood.
