A family friendly crafting activity. Once made, you can take this along to the Lantern Procession on Saturday 9 December (see event details below). Isabella's Story Bike will guide you on a festive promenade around the harbour with songs and stories inspired by  I Saw Three Ships Come Sailing In . There will be magical performances from Far Flung Dance Theatre, Wren Music and Torbay Music Hub. Check out the giant animal lanterns being made by Paignton Zoo and artist Jill Hudson.    Torquay harbour, starts near The Harvester pub:  Sat 2 Dec, hourly from 10am to 1pm  Before or after this event, head over to Torre Abbey for their  WinterFest (Sat 2 and Sun 2 Dec)  with 30 craft stalls, festive nibbles, live music and trail. £2 entry for adults. Kids and teens go free!           Reason 4: Paignton's FREE Lantern Procession   Free, just turn up!  Take your lantern, or just watch the world go by at the lantern procession through Paignton high street and into Palace Gardens to build a lantern tree and have a festive sing-along.   Paignton:  Sat 9 Dec, meet at 3.30pm outside Costa, Victoria Street           Reason 5: Christmas Concert in Torquay's Spanish Barn   £5, book advised  The finale to Christmas by the Sea is a festive concert, featuring the Unidentified Family Orchestra and Choral Engineers with special guests Dean Brodrick, Ben McCabe and Jackie Oates, who will perform Christmas songs by Sufjan Stevens. Then the second half will be traditional Christmas songs for everyone to join in with. Supported by Bournemouth Symphony Orchestra.
