Is it a bird, no. Is it a plane… yes! The Torbay Airshow is returning with the event centred around Paignton Green. Here you'll be able to enjoy entertainment for all the family with a diverse range of food and drink, exhibition stands, display teams, inflatables and fairground rides. To see the main spectacle all you have to do is look up! Find a spot to sit back and watch RAF Red Arrows, RAF Typhoon Display Team, the Battle of Britain Memorial Flight, and many more, as they take to the skies over the two days.

3 / Imaginary Drawn with Light

Artizan Gallery is inviting you to come and see the surreal photography from computer scientist, Dr. Martin Raskovsky. This exhibition showcases some of Dr. Raskovsky's best pieces from the past three years. His photography is often mistaken for paintings, because of their imagination, surrealism and impressionist nature. Between the 4-15 June, you'll be able to see Raskovsky's work up close and personal with a low number of limited edition prints available to buy too.

4 / BMAD Bike Nights
Date: Every Wednesday, 6-10pm from 5 June - 25 September

After another successful year at BMAD Festival, the founder's - Kelvin and Jane Halloran - are spending every Wednesday from 5 June to 25 September on Paignton Seafront for Paignton Bike Night, a social gathering and charity fundraising event. The weekly event is a chance to see some of the finest bikes gather from the Southwest; grab a coffee, ice cream or a portion of chips and your Wednesday evenings will be sorted!

Torre Abbey have a big character coming to town for their summer long exhibition. Roald Dahl’s much-loved Big Friendly Giant will be stealing the show at Torre Abbey for The BFG in Pictures. The iconic story of Sophie and her giant friend was first published in 1982 and has now sold over 50 millions copies. The exhibition from the House of Illustration features reproductions of Quentin Blake's iconic illustrations and contains 40 reproductions of illustrations that weren't used when the book when first published.
